This weekend only from Friday 9 PM EST till Monday, Microsoft will offer non xbox live members a give it a try session. European members will get their chance starting November 25 till the 30th.

Microsoft has taken action against users of modded xbox consules or played xbox 360 games that were downloaded

from file-sharing websites. It has been estimated between 600,000 to 1 Millions users have been banned from xbox live. This strong action is taken to end piracy of video games, that has existed for couple of years.

"All consumers should know that piracy is illegal and that modifying their Xbox 360 console violates the Xbox Live terms of use, will void their warranty and result in a ban from Xbox Live," a statement from Microsoft.
